1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TeluguVaru ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our") at teluguvaru.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
TeluguVaru is a community platform for Telugu-speaking people worldwide, offering news (వార్త), events (వెలుగు), business directory (వ్యాపార), education resources (విద్య), and community forums (వచన).
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Platform. By creating an account you represent that you are 13 or older. Users under 18 must have parental consent.
4. Account Registration
- You may register using a valid email address or through a third-party provider (Google, Facebook).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and current information.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post. By submitting content to the Platform you grant TeluguVaru a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content on the Platform.
You agree NOT to post content that is:
- Illegal, defamatory, harassing, or abusive
- Infringing on any third-party intellectual property rights
- Spam, misinformation, or misleading
- Explicit, violent, or harmful to minors
6. Prohibited Conduct
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
- Scraping, crawling, or harvesting user data without permission
- Impersonating any person or entity
- Using the Platform for commercial solicitation without prior written consent
- Interfering with the Platform's security or integrity
7. Third-Party Services
The Platform uses third-party services including Google OAuth, Facebook Login, and Supabase for authentication and data storage. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
8. Intellectual Property
All Platform branding, design, code, and non-user content are the property of TeluguVaru or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeluguVaru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time via your dashboard or by contacting support@teluguvaru.org.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the Platform.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
